How can there be no limits? </div><div> </div><div><br /></div><div>This conundrum first reared its head when I was about 6 or 7. I placed my head between two mirrors facing each other and upon looking into one saw dozens of images of myself stretching off into the distance gradually getting smaller and smaller. Where did the reflections end? What was beyond the last one? I imagined myself being able go into the mirror to find the end but all I could see was multiple images of myself stretching off into infinity.</div><div> </div><div><br /></div><div>Later on I looked to the stars & the same question came up, where did the universe end? What was beyond the last star? How can something be infinite? </div><div> </div><div>We hear that the universe is expanding. Expanding into what? If it has no end how can it get bigger? </div><div><br /></div><div>Later on came the movie "The never ending story". So ok, we are only limited by our thoughts our current beliefs, and in our minds anything is possible. Some things may be beyond our current comprehension but if we can think it, it can happen on some level.</div><div><br /></div><div>Then came Kala - there are no limits, so there are no boundaries, meaning everything is connected, therefore anything is possible. </div><div><br /></div><div>To me it means we are only limited by our imagination where we once again touch on Ike, todays thoughts are tomorrows reality. The car, the telephone, planes, space travel all began as a thought. Less than 300 yrs ago these things were seen as impossible, yet today they are accepted as commonplace. What is it we see as impossible today? One thing that comes to mind is traveling faster than light & visiting distant galaxies. Yet in our minds we can already do this. Movie directors have accomplished this feat way back in star trek & star wars and in spaceballs Mel Brookes managed to go even faster, at ludicrous speed.</div><div><br /></div><div>A common practice these days is visualization. I like to picture myself beside a lake with snow topped mountains in the distance reflected in the mirror like lake. It only takes a few seconds yet I am there. I have travelled to the other side of the world faster than light. I may not be there physically but on a mental & emotional level I can see it and feel it.</div><div><br /></div><div>Kala - there are no limits. If we use the power of our minds and apply Ike, our thoughts create our reality, then nothing is impossible.</div><div><br /></div><div>Take care</div><div><br /></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-style: italic;">Steven :-))</span></div><div> </div><div> </div></div><a href="http://www.addthis.com/bookmark.php" target="_blank" onclick="window.open('http://www.addthis.com/bookmark.php?wt=nw&pub=kahunaman63&url='+encodeURIComponent(location.href)+'&title='+encodeURIComponent(document.title), 'addthis', 'scrollbars=yes,menubar=no,width=620,height=520,resizable=yes,toolbar=no,location=no,status=no,screenX=200,screenY=100,left=200,top=100'); return false;" title="Bookmark and Share"><img border="0" width="125" alt="Bookmark and Share" src="http://s9.addthis.com/button1-addthis.gif" height="16"/></a>Stevenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17457264635790868015noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3347227347100637867.post-65204023225150820652008-07-23T18:52:00.000-07:002008-08-31T07:16:28.575-07:00Words of Inspiration. I believe they are a way to a healthy mind & life.<br /><br />Ike (ee-Kay) is the first of the seven.<br /><br />Ike - The world is what you think it is - be aware of your thoughts<br /><br />A more commonly known meaning at present is "your thoughts create your reality". A well known book is "The power of positive thinking". And we have all heard stories of people who have survived life threatening illnesses naturally. How?<br /><br />Every thought you have had, every decision you have made has led you to where you are today.<br />And the thoughts, decisions & ideas you have today will create your tomorrow & your future.<br /><br />Scary? or useful?<br /><br />Consider your life to be a movie in which you are the director, producer & star. In your mind you write the script.<br />What are you going to be, do, see in the next chapter (tomorrow).<br /><br />What do you like?<br />What do you not like? (then hit delete & re-write = CHANGE)<br /><br />CHANGE - one of those things that so many people fear. Why?<br /><br />Comfort zones. We have created our lives this way. We may say that we do not like this or that but this is who we are, whether it is a job, relationship, situation etc. this is what we have created, it is who we are. Stepping outside these boundaries we have made sets the nerves off. "But if I leave this job what am I going to do? It may be worse. What am I going to talk (complain) about?" etc.<br /><br />Ike - your thoughts create your reality - It is your choice<br /><br />It may not happen instantaneously but constant awareness of our thoughts, our perception of our reality, change is the only possible outcome. Good or bad? Your choice!!!<div><br /></div><div>Take care</div><div><br /></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-style: italic;">Steven :-))</span></div><br /><a href="http://www.addthis.com/bookmark.php" target="_blank" onclick="window.open('http://www.addthis.com/bookmark.php?wt=nw&pub=kahunaman63&url='+encodeURIComponent(location.href)+'&title='+encodeURIComponent(document.title), 'addthis', 'scrollbars=yes,menubar=no,width=620,height=520,resizable=yes,toolbar=no,location=no,status=no,screenX=200,screenY=100,left=200,top=100'); return false;" title="Bookmark and Share"><img border="0" width="125" alt="Bookmark and Share" src="http://s9.addthis.com/button1-addthis.gif" height="16"/></a>Stevenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17457264635790868015noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3347227347100637867.post-46937587106129429182008-07-12T20:07:00.000-07:002008-08-31T07:16:48.668-07:00Words of Inspiration - Look beyond what you seeHi to all and welcome :-))<div><br /><div><div>I am Steven (steve, stevie or stevo, I answer to all and have been called worse).</div><div><br /></div><div>I would like to share with anyone who has an interest in inspirational messages, thoughts and ideas, that can help anyone live healthier & happier.</div><div><br /></div><div>What do you see here??</div><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiA2OIyJmpV2v-aZzkj19g0VDHORL-cLl52uLEPkOyotztaHptWgsXWz4mRht5ODD7-zfN98nFvd_fkB-lwu4YCJRwkOQ0RrdW4BNakgHZ0ta4GMDapiiaRpS4qY9BwEq7XcTSDj_vsYVk/s320/Baby+in+a+tree.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5222349040282460418" /><div>(If you can only see the obvious let me know & I will give a tip.)</div><div><br /></div><div>To quote a line from one of my daughters favorite movies "Look beyond what you see".</div><div><br /></div><div>Most people are so caught up in the reality they are living that they cannot see the whole picture. They can just see what they allow themselves too and in doing so can miss out on the whole picture.</div><div><br /></div><div>When you go for a drive or a walk try to get out of the tunnel vision attitude most of us have and enjoy the journey, look beyond what you see and allow a whole new set of images into your focus. See the beauty that is everywhere, in everything, allow it into your heart and make your day a happier one, in doing so there will be that much extra happiness in the world.</div><div><br /></div><div>Till next time</div><div><br /></div><div>Take care</div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-style: italic;">Steven ;-))</span> </div><div><br /></div></div></div><a href="http://www.addthis.com/bookmark.php" target="_blank" onclick="window.open('http://www.addthis.com/bookmark.php?wt=nw&pub=kahunaman63&url='+encodeURIComponent(location.href)+'&title='+encodeURIComponent(document.title), 'addthis', 'scrollbars=yes,menubar=no,width=620,height=520,resizable=yes,toolbar=no,location=no,status=no,screenX=200,screenY=100,left=200,top=100'); return false;" title="Bookmark and Share"><img border="0" width="125" alt="Bookmark and Share" src="http://s9.addthis.com/button1-addthis.gif" height="16"/></a>Stevenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17457264635790868015noreply@blogger.com0
