Words of Inspiration - Kala

The second Huna principle is

Kala - "There are no limits" or "Anything is possible"

This has been an unfathomable concept for me for a long time. How can there be no limits?

This conundrum first reared its head when I was about 6 or 7. I placed my head between two mirrors facing each other and upon looking into one saw dozens of images of myself stretching off into the distance gradually getting smaller and smaller. Where did the reflections end? What was beyond the last one? I imagined myself being able go into the mirror to find the end but all I could see was multiple images of myself stretching off into infinity.

Later on I looked to the stars & the same question came up, where did the universe end? What was beyond the last star? How can something be infinite?
We hear that the universe is expanding. Expanding into what? If it has no end how can it get bigger?

Later on came the movie "The never ending story". So ok, we are only limited by our thoughts our current beliefs, and in our minds anything is possible. Some things may be beyond our current comprehension but if we can think it, it can happen on some level.

Then came Kala - there are no limits, so there are no boundaries, meaning everything is connected, therefore anything is possible.

To me it means we are only limited by our imagination where we once again touch on Ike, todays thoughts are tomorrows reality. The car, the telephone, planes, space travel all began as a thought. Less than 300 yrs ago these things were seen as impossible, yet today they are accepted as commonplace. What is it we see as impossible today? One thing that comes to mind is traveling faster than light & visiting distant galaxies. Yet in our minds we can already do this. Movie directors have accomplished this feat way back in star trek & star wars and in spaceballs Mel Brookes managed to go even faster, at ludicrous speed.

A common practice these days is visualization. I like to picture myself beside a lake with snow topped mountains in the distance reflected in the mirror like lake. It only takes a few seconds yet I am there. I have travelled to the other side of the world faster than light. I may not be there physically but on a mental & emotional level I can see it and  feel it.

Kala - there are no limits. If we use the power of our minds and apply Ike, our thoughts create our reality, then nothing is impossible.

Take care
